Dear East Harlem,

Since I last wrote, we’ve been busy throughout the community trying to serve you all better. Our NYCHA Housing tours have helped shed light on the crisis our city is grappling with. Our Environment, Open Spaces & Parks Committee is hosting their Annual Earth Day Conference this Tuesday, the 22nd at El Museo del Barrio. Uniting with our other Harlem Community Boards 9 and 10, along with the Legal Aid Society, we are hosting a Harlem Community Forum at the PAL Center located 441 Manhattan Avenue. Please see flyers below for both events. 

Also, I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone Chag Pesach Sameach from Passover weekend, which coincided with Palm Sunday last weekend. For those who celebrate, we wish you all a Happy Easter. May we all take a reflective moment of thanks and return restored to lift up our community.
