Expanding Support for Crime Victims: Our Partnership with CalVCB
The California Victim Compensation Board (CalVCB) provides financial assistance to crime victims, covering medical bills, mental health services, lost income, and funeral costs.
We are partnering with CalVCB to expand awareness and ensure that eligible families and providers we serve can access the support they need.

Earn a Stipend for Early Childhood Education Coursework
Earn a stipend through SacE3 for college coursework completed at Los Rios Community Colleges to:
- Learn English as a Second Language (ESL)
- Acquire, upgrade, or maintain a Child Development Permit
- Complete early childhood education units required to teach TK
- Earn an associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE)

Developmental screenings help track a childβs progress and identify needs early. The Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) is a key tool for assessing milestones.
We provide referrals for families and free QCCC training to help child care providers implement ASQ and foster inclusive learning environments.
