That was demonstrated well on a recent Saturday when I realized my passport, which I needed for travel the next day, was in my safe deposit box. Hyperion’s Joel Higdon (and another Hyperion team member) arranged to meet me at the bank (which was closed because it was a Saturday). I retrieved my passport and was on my way. They helped me out of a true bind, and I cannot emphasize enough my appreciation for having such a caring staff who go above and beyond for their customers.

Demond Crump, Founder & CEO of Reign Pads and a friend of Hyperion, recently spoke to Charlie Crawford’s Georgia State University class, “Scaling a New Venture,” in the school’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute. 

Charlie and Demond initially met when they were both recognized among the Georgia Titan 100.

Hyperion’s Philadelphia banking office participated in this year’s Take Your Child to Work Day, with 10+ kids and grandkids participating. They went on a walking tour of the bank, did a scavenger hunt & cashed in their coins. Stations were set up for games, coloring & arts and crafts.

We also celebrated quarterly bank team member birthdays and work anniversaries, so everyone – including the kids! – enjoyed a catered lunch from Sweet Lucy’s Smokehouse & an ice cream truck for dessert.

Team members who brought young bank-customer prospects to work with them include Elisa Varella, Cara Rossi (grandkids), Nicole Hicken, Lauren Flowers, Megan Fantini & Danielle Selway. Nationwide, some 40 million people participated in Take Your Child to Work Day at ~3.5 million workplaces.
