⚠️Cloud Storage Renewal Scam Hits Inboxes⚠️

A new phishing campaign is blasting out fake cloud‑storage renewal notices designed to scare you into clicking.

The emails claim your payment failed or your files are about to be deleted, then route you through Google Cloud Storage links to make the message look legitimate.

The final destination is a fake checkout page pushing unrelated “security” products and harvesting credit card details.

What to watch for:

• Urgent warnings about failed payments or imminent data deletion.
• Links that don’t match your real cloud provider.
• Redirects through Google Cloud Storage.
• Checkout pages selling products that have nothing to do with storage.

What to do

• Delete the message - don’t click anything.
• Check your account directly in the app or website.

Instead of copying text into a chat window and pasting results back, you stay in the document while Copilot restructures sections, tightens language, and applies Word styles for you.

Agent Mode in Word is a Copilot mode that gives the AI deeper, more direct control over your document.

Here's how to do it.

Microsoft Word on Windows and Mac (Desktop)

These steps assume you have a Copilot-enabled account and a supported version of Word. Agent Mode is currently rolling out worldwide for users with a Premium Copilot license and select Microsoft 365 subscriptions.

1. Sign in with the account that has Microsoft 365 Copilot access.
2. Click the Copilot icon to open the chat or prompt pane on the right side of Word.
3. In the Copilot prompt box, select Tools and then choose Agent mode. 
4. Type a clear instruction, such as:

6. "Rewrite this section for a non-technical audience and apply Heading 2 to each subtopic."
