COURTNEY L. HANNAH
In the last eight years I have served JCCB in the capacity of Lovely Assistant to the Teen Gifts
Department Team Lead, aka my beautiful mother, Pamela Skillman. We have spent countless hours driving, shopping, detagging, inventorying, packing, hauling, unpacking, organizing, bundling, displaying, re-inventorying, and repacking in the Teen Gifts Department to bless our neighbors.
One of the things I have loved about being a part of JCCB for the last 8 years are the relationships and friendships formed between Department Team Leads as we have collaborated, helped each other and encouraged each other in serving our low-income neighbors. I have always been motivated by helping others, teamwork, creating community, and creative projects. JCCB's mission, of neighbors coming together to help their neighbors by providing warmth and
support during the holiday season, motivates, inspires and allows me to use my passions and
talents. In the last year and a half I further expanded my roles with the JCCB and the ability to use my enthusiasm and expertise in a new way as a Board Member.
Even from the young age of 7, Courtney’s entrepreneurial spirit shined as she marketed and sold her fifty cent handmade loop potholders to the neighbors. She is now the majority owner and CEO of iDredge.com., a small sediment removal and dewatering business with her husband and son. “Most days you will find me in the office, while my family plays in the mud!” says Courtney.
When I am not shopping, sorting, boxing product, inventorying, organizing, or morphing myself each year into the Christmas Elf for the Annual Holiday Shop for the JCCB, painting a wall, dabbling in photography, or traveling with friends, I enjoy time with my family playing outdoor games or riding on my motorcycle enjoying the beauty of the back roads.
