The North Allegheny School District is seeking parents and community members interested in serving on the Technology Advisory Committee (TAC) for the 2025-2026 school year. This committee will provide feedback on district-level technology initiatives and will serve as the parental and community component of the North Allegheny AI Strategic Taskforce. The TAC will review, provide feedback, and help guide the work of the committees established within the AI Strategic Taskforce.
To ensure meaningful discussion and progress on the AI Taskforce goals, the number of parents and community members on the TAC will be limited. Applicants will be screened and selected to ensure a variety of stakeholders are represented.
Meetings will be held in person from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm on the following dates:
- Tuesday, November 25
- Tuesday, January 20
- Tuesday, February 17
- Tuesday, March 24
Additional dates may be added, dependent on the progress and needs of the AI Taskforce committees. Interested parents and community members should complete the application link below. Please submit your interest no later than Thursday, November 13, 2025.

Officer Connolly holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in Intelligence and Security Studies from Point Park University. She began her career in law enforcement as a Criminal Intelligence Analyst with the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office and as a Crime Analyst for the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police. | | | After graduating from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Police Academy, she served as a patrol officer for two local municipalities. Officer Connolly is passionate about helping students feel safe, supported, and heard. | | |

| | NA GIRLS SOCCER WINS WPIAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN DOUBLE OT CLASSIC | | Rosalia Varlotta's golden goal in double overtime lifted North Allegheny to a thrilling 2-1 win over section rival Seneca Valley in the WPIAL Class 4A championship last Friday night at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh. In the second half, the Tigers trailed 1-0 before junior Kieran Shannon tied the game with her 16th goal of the season with 8:16 remaining in regulation. The WPIAL championship was the fourth district crown for the Tigers in the last six years. On Sunday, November 9, the Unified Boosters Organization, in conjunction with the North Allegheny Athletic Department and Food Services Department, will sponsor a Toys for Tigers “Spaghetti Dinner.” The Pittsburgh Steelers play the Los Angeles Chargers, with kickoff at 8:20 pm. Please join us for a pre-game lunch/dinner from 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm, with all proceeds benefiting the UBO Toys for Tigers program. This program provides toys, clothing, shoes, food, and more to District families experiencing financial hardship during the holiday season.

| | PARENTS' NIGHT OUT HOSTED BY FCCLA FRIDAY, DECEMBER 5 | | North Allegheny FCCLA members are excited to offer a third Parents' Night Out fundraiser on Friday, December 5, for students in kindergarten through 5th grade.
