Seasonal Pumpkin Spice Recipe Kit

Also available again this fall is our Pumpkin Spice (the spices minus the pumpkin) recipe kit. The base ale recipe stands up on it's own, add the pumpkin spices, and you have a great fall spice ale! This is a malt forward recipe with toasty notes that are fitting for a fall beer.

Gluten Free Malt Chart

We occasionally browse through our blog, which has posts going back to 2016 when we launched our current website. The blog that we refer customers to by far more than any other is the May 2022 Malt Chart. The individual product pages for each malt now provide more detailed specifications, but this chart is still a great way to compare multiple malts.

Bierly Brewing IPA Recipe

Another blog that is noteworthy is our tasting of Bierly Brewing's Rendezvous Double IPA. Breweries will sometimes release a recipe with the specific ingredients, but seldom do they also include the exact amounts so that you can brew a true clone. Bierly Brewery has done just that because the original recipe was submitted by a fellow GFHBer for a homebrew competition hosted by Bierly Brewing. It was so good that it has been brewed since 2019!

Gluten Free Just Got Easier

Alissa and I traveled to Victoria BC last month, a trip that was made much easier with the Gluten Dude (GD) app. It has been a few years since I installed GD on my phone, and it has not only helped us find places to eat on our travels, we have eaten at some of the most amazing restaurants as a result. There have been several times that we found somewhere on GD that I doubt we would have ever tried if not for the app. It's a must have app!
