PAMED Joins Health Care Leaders on Statement Responding to Superior Court Ruling

Leaders from associations representing Pennsylvania health care providers and businesses released the following statement today about implications that the Pennsylvania Superior Court’s ruling in Hagans v. Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania will have on access to care and economic competitiveness across the commonwealth.

PAMED Claim Support Available for Blue Cross Blue Shield Settlement

As an update to the Blue Cross Blue Shield provider settlement, PAMED has entered into an agreement with Macmoor Capital for Macmoor to assist PAMED members with claims submission.


Macmoor Capital helps with navigating the claims process for healthcare-related class action settlements. In return for its services, Macmoor retains 25% of any paid claim. PAMED receives a portion of that 25%. There is no up-front cost, and no other charge for Macmoor’s services. Eligible providers have until July 29, 2025 to submit a claim.
