PCMS Solo and Ensemble Announcement
Congratulations to the 15 Princeton Community Middle School band and orchestra musicians who competed in 15 events for ratings in the OMEA District 14 Junior High School Solo and Ensemble Competition on April 15th at Nagel Middle School. Our Vikings represented well earning 1 Excellent Rating, and 14 Superior Ratings!

FinalForms - Re-sign for the 2023-2024 School Year
Forms must be updated and signed by July 15 so that each child is compliant and transportation for the first day of school is arranged.

FinalForms, the school’s online forms center, is ready for the 2023-2024 school year. Please be aware that new forms were added this year, but all data will be stored from the past school year. Princeton City School District's Technology Department received the CLON Awards of Excellence for Outstanding Growth Award from ClassLink.

The Outstanding Growth Award recognizes school systems with the largest growth in the number of unique users of ClassLink from fall 2021 to fall 2022.

DECA State Competition Recognition
At the April 17th Board of Education meeting, students from DECA Club who made it to the State Competition were recognized.

Twelve DECA students from Princeton High School attended the Ohio DECA competition on March 10 and 11 in Columbus. Students competed in role play and presentation.

Lesly Torres (11th grade) and Jackson Woodall (12th grade) placed in the top 10 in their events. Torres competed in Professional Selling and Woodall in Financial Consulting. PHS DECA was among more than 100 other DECA chapters from across the state, with approximately 5,000 people in attendance.

DECA is a marketing club that prepares students for entrepreneurship and leadership in the areas of marketing, management, hospitality, and finance.

2023 Best Community for Music Education
Congratulations to the Princeton Music Department! The NAMM Foundation has recognized your community for its commitment to music education with a 2023 Best Communities for Music Education. 

For the eighth consecutive year, Princeton City School District has been named one of the Best Communities for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation. 

The award program recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, students, administrators, parents, and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded educational experience.

Vocal Chamber Ensemble "Movies" SHOWCASE 2023

This performance featured 18 of Princeton's finest vocalists singing songs from famous movies such as "The Greatest Showman," "Singing in the Rain," and "Footloose." Six soloists will perform individual songs such as "Don't Rain on My Parade," "Part of Your World," and more! 

A big thank you to musical director, David Dendler, and choreographer, Karie-Lee Sutherland, and Matthews Auditorium manager, Jason Hollowell.
