Because...Some of the Biggest Victims of Domestic Violence are the Smallest

I am so proud to announce that Randi’s House of Angels is getting back on track to host all programs across our six-county region. We are so grateful for our partners continuing to support our services and dedicating so many constructive hours of dialogue to the planning process.
Like so many other nonprofits, RHOA can attest to the impact of COVID-19. We have had to suspend and redesign our programs to accommodate how we reach the children. We learned amid the crisis that there was a significant increase in the rate of domestic violence. This alone solidified the need for ongoing RHOA programs.
Overall, in the worst of times, we maintained the support of our local donors and community partners. I am hopeful that all our readers will open up their doors to meet with us and allow RHOA programs to become part of their resource bank to families and children.

The 2022 Summer’s Randi’s Camp will be held July 13th, 14th, and 15th from 7:30 am until 5:00 pm at the Silver Springs Presbyterian Church, Mechanicsburg, Pa. There is no cost for the camp.
Randi’s Camp for Hope and Courage is a 3-day outcome-based therapeutic/recreational camp for children ages 8-13 years who have experienced or have been exposed to domestic violence. Through educational, interpersonal, and fun activities, children increase their self-esteem, self-concept, and confidence in their own abilities. Children are empowered to believe that their thoughts, feelings, and actions are important, worthy of expression and that they are valuable contributors to the whole family unit.
