You're invited to join us live virtually at the 19th EcoSavvy Symposium for two fascinating presentations exploring the healing power of gardening upon our physical, mental and spiritual health, and the restorative power of sustainable gardening upon all of us and our world.

Come explore the healing powers of gardening and learn how to make the world a better place for you and your loved ones with experts hosted by the Green Spring Master Gardeners. Featured speakers:


  • Kathleen Wellington, LPC, Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional, will share the cultural and scientific evidence that gardening restores our physical, mental and spiritual health.


  • Laurie Fox, PhD, Horticulture Associate, Virginia Tech, will then show us how to put this knowledge into practice with gardening techniques to reclaim contaminated soil and groundwater.


Price (updated): $24 in county/ $27 out of county. A recording will be available to all registered participants for post-event viewing.


Continuing Education Units (CEUs): Registered participants are eligible to earn up to 2 Landscape Industry Certified continuing education units (CEUs) from the National Association of Landscape Professionals.
