Next week, we’re kicking off our brand-new nostalgia film club It’s Gravy When You’re in the AV with a true 80s classic: Back to the Future (1985, PG).

Come relive the magic of one of the most definitive movies of the decade.

Summer Reading Club Update

 As the Summer comes to an end, Jennah, SRC Assistant, wanted to say thank you to all of you for an amazing few months:


"It's been such a joy getting to know all of you, and it's crazy how fast the time has flown by! To all the kids, no matter where you were on your reading journey, I hope you were able to find some joy in our program. Wishing you all the best heading into the school year!'


Summer Reading Club medal pick up will take place August 26 – September 6.


All you need to do is bring in your completed reading record to pick one up.

Pop Out Loud Colouring Contest

August 1-30


For kids ages 5-14. This colouring contest will run for the whole month of August.


"Pop" into the library to pick up a colouring sheet based on the book Pop Out Loud. Completed colouring sheets can be used to enter a draw to win a copy of the book!

This workshop is presented by Alzheimer’s Society of BC and will focus on how dementia affects an individual’s brain and behavior.


This workshop is suitable for everyone, caregivers and family members, and folks directly affected by dementia.

Teen Advisory Committee Meeting

The library’s Teen Advisory Committee (TAC) is made up of teens ages 14-18!


As part of TAC, you will help advise the library on services to teens in Squamish, plan programs, help library staff with programs and projects, and get volunteer hours!

NFB Film Screening: The Stand

Saturday / September 27 / 1:00 - 3:00 pm


Join us for an afternoon film screening of the NFB documentary The Stand (2024, 94 min 33s).


This film uses archival footage to tell the story about a landmark act of peaceful resistance and Indigenous sovereignty.
