Slowing Cancer's Spread
With the support of a $708,000 Florida Department of Health grant, a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors will study how to stop cancer metastasis by targeting enzymes responsible for its spread. Gregg Fields, Ph.D., plans to move into preclinical trials at the end of the three year grant, if good quality compounds are developed. READ MORE.
