Fly Spray Recap!

As we transition into Summer Session we have a lot of returning visitors coming back to SMILES including... flies! Watch our video to review how to properly apply fly spray to your horses before starting class.

Gentle Reminder: Remember to read stall cards before fly spray application to verify if your horse is comfortable with being sprayed! Some of our horses get very nervous by the sound so we try to spray it on a rag before hand and wipe the spray on the horse (such as with Buster!).

The Mane Event, Take Two!

Thank you so much to all volunteers who have requested to participate in this take two event! I want to let you know that we are good for volunteer positions for this event. I have a few folks who have reached out to me to offer that if anything should happen the day of the event they are available to come and help support SMILES at Hawk's View, thank you! I will make sure to reach out to any additional volunteers that would be interested if spots open up.
