President's Message
Over three years ago, the Chamber and City embarked on a path to create a Tourism Marketing District to support Tourism, our Hotels and market the Assets of Santa Ana.
This past January 2021, "Travel Santa Ana" was launched with an 11 member Board of Directors.
Last week, (August 2nd ) we welcomed our first president to lead the organization Wendy Haase. We are excited to have Wendy in this leadership role with over 22 years of experience to guide and direct this new exciting adventure for our City.

 In addition, I want to thank Jonathan Maher, Main Place Mall/Centennial Real Estate and Marc Morley, City of Santa Ana my two partners that labored to get this done spending many hours and meetings to create Travel Santa Ana Tourism Marketing District. Look for great things ahead for our City.
INTRODUCING WENDY HAASE- TRAVEL SANTA ANA PRESIDENT
Wendy Haase has been named President of the newly formed Travel Santa Ana.
With over 20 years in the travel industry, President Haase is ready to build Travel Santa Ana into a thriving organization.
She began her career with Visit Milwaukee where for nearly seven years she collaborated on events such as, the Harley-Davidson 100th Anniversary and the Major League Baseball All-Star Game. Her career path led her to California where she has represented Sonoma County, Huntington Beach, Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes, and Destination Irvine. Wendy earned her Certified Destination Marketing Executive certification with Destination Marketing Association International in 2014 and currently serves on the CalTravel board of directors.

The City of Santa Ana is honored once again to partner with the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce to host the State of the City 2021.

The California EDD, Santa Ana Public Library and the Santa Ana WORK Center have partnered to host a job fair.

The Santa Ana WORK Center is coordinating an in-person job fair to be held on August 19, 2021 from 10AM to 1PM. This job fair will take place outdoors at the Santa Ana Library – main branch location. The job fair is part of Santa Ana Public Library’s Work Readiness Program with a series of workshops for job seekers looking to gain an edge through resume writing, job searching, interview skills, and much more.
