We hope to see you this Saturday from 11 am - 7 pm at the inaugural Sawtooth Spotlight: Holiday Market!

Throughout the holiday season, Sawtooth has been a destination for those looking to give their family and friends one-of-a-kind gifts made by acclaimed regional artists–and this year is no different. Join us this Saturday for a year-end celebration of fine art, craft, and community.

Spotlight is more than just a market, with hands-on activities, demonstrations, and fun for the whole family! We've got a full rundown of the day's merriment below.

A $5 donation is suggested for admission. Your contribution supports Sawtooth's scholarship and community outreach programs. Please note that some roads will be closed due to the Winston-Salem Holiday Parade; we've included parking and traffic information to help you plan your visit.

Studio Activities

Fun for all ages! Spend 30 minutes making tiny ornament paintings (12-2 pm) or wool-roving pinecone trees (3-5 pm) with Sawtooth instructors. $10 per person.

Get your festive portrait made! Adults, kids, and families can enjoy the magic of light painting with Director of Photography C. Stephen Hurst. 20-minute sessions will be offered from 12-2 pm and 3-6 pm. $10 for a single person and $15 for a group portrait (up to 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children). Final photos will be delivered via email.

Register for these activities at the information booths at the Spruce Street and Marshall Street market entrances.

Artist Demonstrations

Watch exciting pieces take shape, and ask questions about the process at hand! We'll have artists demonstrating in our Ceramics studio from 12-4 pm, our Weaving studio from 1-3 pm, and in our Glass and Metals studio throughout the day.

Free, no registration required.

Make Your Mark on Our Art Walls!

Artists Ella Coyne & Jess Harkey have created interactive murals in our classroom hallway. Grab a big crayon, make your mark, and help complete these masterpieces!
