Child & Family Center's Purple Walk on October 11💜

Don’t Wait... Stand With Us for Survivors

There’s still time to join us, but don’t wait! Child & Family Center’s Annual Purple Walk is happening on Saturday, October 11. This a 5K dedicated to raising awareness, showing support for survivors, and bringing our community together in hope and healing.

Whether you walk solo, with friends, or alongside your pup, your participation is a statement of solidarity and strength. And this year, it matters more than ever. With recent budget cuts, your support is critical to ensuring survivors continue to receive the care and advocacy they deserve.

Register today at www.childfamilycenter.org/purple-walk.

Let’s walk with purpose. Let’s walk for hope.

Growing Stronger Together

A Celebration of Families and Community

Child & Family Center was thrilled to host Growing Stronger Together this month, an event that brought families of all abilities together for resources, activities, and meaningful connections. The atmosphere was filled with energy, joy, and a true sense of community spirit.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Santa Clarita Valley SELPA Early Start for their vision and partnership in making this event possible. We’re also deeply grateful to the Santa Clarita Public Library, who rolled out the Library Express and shared the joy of books with children and families.

Most of all, thank you to every family and community partner who joined us. Together, we are truly growing stronger... building connections, fostering resilience, and supporting one another.

Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

At Child & Family Center, we believe every story matters and yours is still unfolding. Real change begins with real voices. When people feel heard, respected, and valued, they are more likely to reach out for help and stay connected.

September is Recovery Month

Recovery is possible and it looks different for everyone. At Child & Family Center, our Pathways to Recovery program supports teens and adults through counseling, family therapy, group support, and relapse prevention.

This Recovery Month, we honor the courage of those on the journey and reaffirm our commitment to walking alongside you with hope and care.
