The Bead Lady is a full-service bead shop located in Downtown Concord, but they are also so much more! Owners Kathleen and Justin Reeder have been helping the local community make meaningful jewelry for over 20 years both locally and all over the country.
The Reederโs 14-step โmemory beadโ making process is the highlight of the Our State article, where they repurpose flowers from weddings and funerals into jewelry. Be sure to pick up a copy this month!
๐๐ They are also celebrating a new BL Designs jewelry line with a Launch Event at their store on Sept 13th from 4-7pm.

A strong partnership has endured in our community between the Junior Charity League (JCL) and the local Cabarrus County and Kannapolis City Schools that ensures that as many students as possible get to experience new clothing for the school year.
Volunteers make this experience truly special by creating a one-on-one interaction with each student, helping them choose clothing items that not only provide warmth and comfort but also boost their confidence.

Bebo's Pizzeria
Bebo's Pizzeria in Concord posted on their Facebook page in August that they are permanently closed. Opened in the former Freddy's location on Concord Parkway, their menu originally focused on Cheesesteaks and Wings, but they eventually rebranded to Bebo's Pizzeria. We are sad to see them go!
