Summer Activity Guide is live!

The Parks & Recreation Summer Activity Guide is now available online. Registration opens Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.

Explore summer camps and classes for all ages happening this June through August. Exciting special events await, including extra-special 4th of July events, the Street Fair, and the Music Under the Stars concert series. 

Community members are invited to the Summer Kickoff event on Saturday, March 28, 2026, to further explore the Guide, meet with staff, engage with programs, and plan out their summer before registration opens!

Outreach grants available through Local Coastal Program Update

Community and Tribal organizations are invited to apply for funding to support outreach efforts as part of the Local Coastal Program Update. This update will guide Ventura's planning for coastal resources, including sea-level rise adaptation, protecting beaches and public access, and preserving coastal habitats. Applications are due by April 10, 2026.

Supported by the California Coastal Commission and Ocean Protection Council, this effort aims to reflect community priorities and strengthen coastal resilience through 2028.

Call for vendors for Earth Day Festival

Environmental organizations can sign up as a vendor for this year's Earth Day Festival by March 27! This year's Earth Day Festival will take place on Saturday, April 18, from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Plaza Park.

Hosted by MERITO Foundation and the City's Environmental Sustainability Division, the event will feature live performances, sustainable goods, local food vendors, a Kids Zone, and more.

Ventura’s Climate Action & Resilience Plan (CARP) has been adopted; now let’s talk about what it means for you! Join our first 2026 CARP Conversation on Monday, March 30, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., in the Community Meeting Room at City Hall, located at 501 Poli St. Drop in anytime and be part of the conversation!
