Summer of Promise: Progress, Partnership & New Beginnings

Dear Friends of Family Promise,

As we near the end of the summer, we are filled with gratitude for your continued support and the remarkable progress we've made together this year. July has brought not only warm weather but also warm hearts, as our community continues to step up in extraordinary ways to support families experiencing housing insecurity.

This month, we are especially proud to celebrate the nearing completion of Homebound Ranch, our new Transitional Living House. Thanks to the dedication of our staff, volunteers, and generous donors, this space will soon open its doors to families working toward long-term stability. Mark your calendars - we'll be hosting a special ribbon cutting ceremony on August 21st @ 10AM, and we would love for you to join us of this momentous occasion!

Beyond housing, July has been a busy month for our homelessness prevention, financial education, and wraparound support programs. Whether it's helping parents access job training on ensuring children stay connected to their education, your support helps turn crisis into opportunity for every family we serve.

Summer is also a time when needs can grow. With school out and resources stretched, families face increased financial stress. Your donations, volunteer hours, and advocacy make all the difference. Together, we are not just providing temporary shelter - we're building pathways to stability and self-sufficiency.

Join us Thursday, August 21 @ 10AM for the Ribbon Cutting ceremony at Homebound Ranch! We are so grateful to have the support of Roswell, Inc. for this special event!

Homebound Ranch will allow two families to work and pay rent on a sliding scale to increase credit scores, earn additional savings, and restore credibility as a tenant.

With these goals guiding our work, Family Promise is committed to fostering a community that stands beside families in need - working together to build a stronger, more compassionate future for all!

Board Member Spotlight! Meet Jeff Bush!

Family Promise is incredibly grateful for the leadership and dedication of our board member, Jeff Bush! Jeff has been a true mover and shaker when it comes to bringing Homebound Ranch to life. From the earliest planning stages to the finishing touches, he has rolled up his sleeves and worked tirelessly to ensure that our first transitional house is ready to welcome families.

Jeff's commitment goes far beyond meetings and planning. His hands-on approach, energy, and passion for serving families experiencing homelessness have

made a lasting impact on our mission. Because of this vision and determination, Homebound Ranch will soon be a place where children can rest safely, parents can rebuild their lives, and hope can grow. We are so thankful for his heart for this work and the difference he makes every single day. Thank you, Jeff!
