Pillar Health Is Coming to Racine with Medical and Mental Health Services

Pillar Health is opening a new clinic in Racine in summer 2025. This will be Racine’s first Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).

The clinic will offer primary care (regular doctor visits) and behavioral health services (mental health care) for people of all ages. You’ll find us inside Julian Thomas Elementary School, right in the Lincoln-King neighborhood.

Pillar In the Community

Lead Screening Compliance Reaches 97% Through Community Partnership

Pillar Health is an active member of the Kenosha Head Start and Early Head Start Health Services Advisory Committee, which supports the health and well-being of children enrolled in these programs. At the May 2025 committee meeting, it was reported that lead screening compliance for the Head Start Program had significantly improved—from 79% to 97%—thanks to a collaborative initiative involving

Pillar Health, KUSD Head Start, and the Kenosha County Public Health (KCPH) School Nurse Consultant. Between May 2024 and May 2025, a total of 98 children were screened across four screening dates, spanning two academic years. This increase in compliance reflects the success of the coordinated outreach and testing efforts. Approximately 10% of the Point-of-Care test results indicated elevated lead levels. These cases were promptly referred to the Kenosha County Health Department for further evaluation and follow-up care.
