Get ready for an action-packed day of imagination, adventure, and fandom at the Blaine Comic Festival! Freedom Eve

Tuttle & Crump's Freedom 250 Old Fashioned 4th of July
Downtown Blaine is your patriotic headquarters this 4th of July! Kick off your day with the pancake breakfast at the Blaine Community Center, then head to downtown for live music, street fair, car show, parade and more. Beginner Henna Art
Perfect for first-timers who want to explore simple henna designs in a fun, relaxed setting. Participants will practice basic patterns, learn simple techniques, and create their own designs with guidance. Note: Pigment develops as it dried; recommended development time is 1-2 hours. Dress in clothing that will not smear henna while drying. Henna may effect sensitive skin.

Spa Creations Night
Join us for a relaxing, hands-on evening where you’ll learn how to create your own bath bombs and sugar body scrubs.

Adult Golf Lessons
Blaine-Birch Bay Park and Recreation District 2 is excited to partner with Birch Bay Village Golf Club to offer golf lessons to the community! There will be two sessions this summer to help players learn the game. Session 1 will focus on an introduction of the game and fundamentals of play. Session 2 will prepare players for playing on a regular course. Learn more and register online.

Junior Golf Camp
Blaine-Birch Bay Park and Recreation District 2 is excited to partner with Birch Bay Village Golf Club once again this year to offer golf camp for kids ages 8-11 and 12-16. Campers will learn everything about the game of golf, from putting to full swing, in a supportive, hands-on environment. Build skills, learn the game, and have a blast!

Beach Explorations
Head to the Birch Bay State Park this summer to explore the beach! Join us for Beach Walks to search for and identify marine life during low tide. Or join us for Clamming 101 for informational classes about clamming, including rules, regulations, equipment and harvesting methods. (*Note, if you plan to harvest clams, you must have a current clamming license. Clamming may turn into a beach walk if shellfish harvest is closed.) Free and open to all ages. In partnership with Friends of Birch Bay State Park.

Summer Hikes
Join us this summer as we explore the beautiful trails of the Pacific Northwest this summer! Summer Hikes are going on now and continue through September. Hikes depart by bus from the Birch Bay Activity Center at 9 a.m. (unless otherwise noted.)
Cost is $5-$10 per hike; additional fees may apply depending on distance and parking. Registration for each hike is required.

Kids Makers Market at Kite Festival
The Kids Makers Market is designed for kids ages 8–16 to sell handmade items they have created in a real market-style setting. Young makers will gain hands-on experience setting up a booth, interacting with customers, pricing their products, and earning money from their work. Registration is required and space is limited, so sign up today!

Family Field Days
Families are invited to play, laugh, and move together during our summer Field Day pop-up events. Splash Days
Cool off this summer at Splash Days! We shut down the street and transform it into a water-filled playground featuring sprinklers, splash zones, music, and summer activities. Kids Summer Day Camp: Spots still available!
There are still a few spots available at our Summer Day Camps! Camps run Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., from June 22nd through August 13th. This is the perfect opportunity for your child to enjoy outdoor activities, make new friends, and create lasting summer memories. Scholarships are available; contact info@bbbparkandrec.org. Registered Fitness Sessions
