Weekly Analyst Review
BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT: This past week has proven to be one of the most active weeks of militant activity in the Jammu and Kashmir region in many months. Most notable, The Resistance Front (TRF), which emerged in 2020 as newly formed proxy organization of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), was behind three targeted attacks over a 5-day stretch. The first attack took place on 05 October in Hajin, Bandipora, where a man who was backed by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) party was targeted and said to have been posing as a medical professional / businessman who conducted secret seminars to promote the RSS' agenda. The second attack, occurring on 07 October in Eidgah, Srinagar, was the assassination of two teachers - one a Sikh and the other a Hindu. While this specific attack speaks to their longstanding desire to eradicate minority (non-Muslim) communities, it is interesting that TRF decided to target a school where the majority of teachers at Kashmiri schools are Muslims. The third attack that took place on 09 October in Manzgam, Kulgam, saw the TRF stepping up their targeted attacks as they ambushed a Naka Police party working a checkpoint, killing two officers. The recent uptick in targeted attacks combined with the group establishing a Telegram channel to release claims of credit, all seem to point to attempts to increase the perceived legitimacy of the organization.

TRAC Incident Report: People's Defence Force (PDF) Conducts 37 Attacks Against the Government, Killing 96 Troops, Across Myanmar
The People's Defence Force (PDF), the armed wing of the National Unity Government (NUG) was formed on 05 May 2021, in response to the ongoing coup d'état in Myanmar and claimed to be the legitimate governing power in Myanmar. Three days later, the group was designated as a terrorist group by the government and since then, the group has amassed large support amongst the Myanmar populace for their efforts to counter the violence of the regime. On 07 September 2021, the NUG formally declared a 'defensive' war against the government (Tatmadaw), declaring that “D-Day” had arrived. In a recent briefing, The Defense Ministry of Myanmar’s NUG stated that the PDF conducted 37 attacks against 'junta targets' on 03 October 2021. According to the Ministry, these attacks combined killed 96 troops. In summary, attacks included firefights with junta troops, bombings of military convoys, and raids on security outposts and military-owned businesses, with the most significant attack occurring in the Pale Township, Sagaing Region, where twin attacks on a military convoy killed 61 soldiers.
(Anonymous Anarchist) German Anarchist 2 October Arson Attack on Bridge with Key District Heating and Electrical Supply Lines Causing Outages in 9,000 Households in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin, Germany
Anarchists increasingly targeted vital infrastructure systems in their attempt to cause the collapse of society. In line with this objective, on 02 October 2021, German anarchists committed an arson attack on a bridge over the Ringbahn, which is linked to the district heating and other vital electrical supply lines. The fire caused significant damage and it took almost 24 hours to repair with over 9,000 homes without power. Interestingly, the footbridge a few meters further on was not damaged, another indication that Ringbahn bridge was the only target. The fire brigade was alerted around 3:00 am local time and the blaze was not extinguished until approximately 3:45 pm. Power failures were reported around most of the Berlin district of Prenzlauer Bergas well as parts of Schönhauser Allee, Danziger Straße, the area around the Jahnsportpark, Eberswalder Straße and the adjacent smaller streets. Without actually 'claiming' the attack, the anarchists hinted they were behind the arson by recirculating a news items and photos in celebration. Of utmost importance of this act of sabotage is the fact that the perpetrators were able to gain access and successfully destroy such a critical infrastructure of a bridge vital for the electrical supply of the surrounding areas. If this attack had occurred during winter months, the impact would have been much more drastic.

TRAC Incident Report: Believing COVID-19 Vaccines To Be Poisoning the Population, Jeffrey Burnham Murdered His Pharmacist Brother and Two Others in Cumberland and Ellicott City, Maryland, Caught in Davis, West Virginia, United States
On 30 September 2021, Jeffrey Burnham killed three people in Cumberland and Ellicott City, Maryland, United States. Burnham has since been charged with two counts each of first- and second-degree murder, as well as weapons charges, but has yet to be formally charged for the third murder. On 06 October 2021, court documents revealed Burnham's motivations and that he "wanted to confront" his brother "with the government poisoning people with COVID vaccines." While anti-COVID protests continue to occur globally, this incident certainly constitutes a violent acceleration. Far-right communities, particularly eco-fascists, are already celebrating the attack, indicating the possibility that more COVID-related murders may occur. The eco-fascist's celebration meme's and posters represent stochastic terrorism. The term stochastic terrorism is defined as "using language and other forms of communication to incite random acts of violence that are "statistically predictable but individually unpredictable."
