⚠️ Ameriprise Data Breach Exposes Client Information ⚠️

Ameriprise Financial disclosed a data breach affecting approximately 48,000 customers. The incident stemmed from unauthorized access to a third‑party vendor system used for document management.

What Happened

Attackers accessed files containing client information, including names, Social Security numbers, and financial account details. Ameriprise stated that its internal systems were not breached, but the compromised vendor stored sensitive customer documents.

Company Response

Ameriprise notified affected customers and is offering complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services. The company also reported the incident to regulators and is reviewing its vendor security controls.

OpenAI and Microsoft Redefine Their AI Partnership

OpenAI and Microsoft just announced a major shift in their high-profile partnership, signaling a new phase in how AI will be built and delivered.

The biggest change?

The relationship is no longer exclusive. OpenAI can now offer its models across multiple cloud platforms, not just Microsoft Azure, while Microsoft still remains its primary partner.

Microsoft keeps access to OpenAI’s technology through 2032, but that access is now non-exclusive, giving OpenAI more flexibility to expand its reach and work with other providers.

Microsoft Edge on Windows and macOS



1. Open Edge, select the three dot menu, then choose Settings > About Microsoft Edge. Confirm you are on version 142 or later and install any pending updates.
2. Go to Settings > Appearance. Scroll to the Tabs section and toggle Show tab search to On. This adds the Tab Search icon to the tab strip.
3. Select the small downward arrow icon at the far left of your tabs or press Ctrl + Shift + A. A panel appears with a search box, open tabs, and recently closed tabs.
4. Type a keyword such as “OneNote,” “invoice,” or “Outlook.” Edge filters matching tabs across all open windows in the same mode. Select a result to switch instantly.
5. Open the Tab Search panel again. Look under Recently closed or type part of the page title. Select the tab to reopen it without browsing through full history.
