Some may think of me as a dog person, but over the course of my life, I’ve had three cats and one dog.

Cats are interesting. Especially when you have two at the same time. They’re actually quite cunning, calculating, and smart.

While having the cats, we had many times when things we thought we had thrown away would miraculously appear in the house. We knew it was the cats, but we couldn’t figure out how they got into the trash. We had a tall, weighted trash can that required you to push down on a foot pedal to open.

One day, we came home, and to our surprise, we saw the cats busy in the kitchen. One cat was pushing down on the trash can foot pedal, while the other was inside the can, tossing out chicken bones from our previous night’s dinner.

Now, I don’t approve of the mess, but wouldn’t we all like our team members to work together this efficiently to solve their work issues – even if it is a little messy?
