Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School,

This past weekend, we celebrated our second graders receiving their First Holy Communion. As the only sacrament celebrated during their years at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School, this is one of my absolute favorite events of the school year. The previous Wednesday, under the leadership or Mrs. Martin (Religion Coordinator) and Mrs. Guion and Mrs. West (2nd grade teachers) and our Middle School Retreat Team, our students participated in a class retreat and prepared for this huge step in their faith lives as they completed the second sacrament of Initiation. Having the opportunity to watch their eager faces as they approached the Eucharistic Minister to receive the Body and Blood of Christ is a true honor. There are so many things that make our school great; our shared faith and our school family coming together in the celebration of the sacraments and the Eucharist are two of the very greatest. Please pray for our second graders as they receive their second, third, fourth, fifth holy communion… 😊 And may we imitate their joy each time we receive.

Only by His Grace,

Veronica Tucker

Principal

NEW FAMILY AMBASSADORS

Do you have a passion for our school and a desire to welcome new families into our vibrant community? We're on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team of Family Ambassadors! As a Family Ambassador, you'll have the exciting opportunity to connect with incoming families, share your love for our school, and help them feel right at home. We are "amping-up" this program for 2024-2025 in order to better serve our new families!

  • Due to the large number of new families in Early Childhood, they will receive a contact list of New Family Ambassadors that they can reach out with questions. We'd also like our Early Childhood Ambassadors to reach out to families and arrange meet-ups as a team!
  • New Families Ambassadors in Grades 1-8 will be matched with a new family (or two) to reach out to.
  • New Family Ambassadors will also be asked to be "visable" at Meet the Teacher and other orientation events at the beginning of the year.

Please only sign-up if you can commit to contacting your new families by June 21, 2024 and plan to attend the Meet the Teacher & Parent Info Nights at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year.  Thank you for signing up to welcome new families to our community!
