Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School,

And just like that… It’s December! I hope your families enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving and now we prepare to welcome Advent this weekend. Our families have so many ways to prepare for the coming of Christ in the manger. Some have Advent Wreaths. Some have Jesse Trees. Some have traditions with placing hay in the manger or moving the Christ Child closer to the creche. While these traditions vary from home to home, the preparation of our hearts and the importance of holding steadfast to the true meaning of the Incarnation is the same for all of us. May this Advent be full of faith, hope, love and peace for each of you!

Heavenly Father, Your Son, Jesus, is your greatest gift to us, a great sign of your love.

Guide us as we strive to walk in that Love together as a family this Advent.

As we prepare our hearts of Christmas, bring us closer to each other and to Your Son.

Give us the grace and strength we need every day.

Help us to always trust in You. Amen.

ST. NICK'S NATIVITY & MARKET

All parishioners are invited to the gym from 10:30am - 1pm on Saturday, December 2nd for the St. Nick's Nativity & Market, hosted by the St. Anne Society! St. Nick's Market features specialty vendors selling items for the season including Mass bags, Christmas decor, and Catholic gifts. At 11:00am we will have our nativity play followed by THE STAR movie. Bring your pillows, blankets, nap mats, and dress comfy!
