Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School,

Happy Last Messenger of 2023! It’s hard to believe we have almost arrived at the halfway point of the 2023-2024 year, but here we are! 😊 One of the many things I love about this time of year is highlighting our Music and Theater programs. In the world of Music and Theater, under the direction of Mrs. Lienhard and Ms. McDowell, we have had the musical talents of our students showcased in the Middle School Fine Arts Program, Lessons and Carols at Frassati Catholic High School and the 1st & 2nd Grade Christmas Program --- not to mention the beautiful music coming from the Music Room and Band Hall throughout every day! St. Augustine is credited with saying: “To sing is to pray twice” so we are doubling our prayers all over campus lately! 😊 This time of year is full of song. I pray that your families praise our Incarnate Savior together in song throughout the Advent and Christmas seasons! Happy Advent and Merry Christmas!!!

ATHLETICS UPDATE

BASKETBALL NEWS - Last Friday the Dolphins completed a sweep of the Cardinals of St. Rose of Lima. The JV Boys Won – 38 to 16, The Varsity Boys also were victorious 54 to 40 and the Dolphins Varsity Girls team got into the win column as well with a score of 25 to 20. Congratulations Dolphins!!!

In the new year the Dolphins boys will travel to Regis to take on the Knights on Wednesday January 10th, the C-team boys at 4:30 PM, JV boys at 5:30 PM and the Varsity boys at 6:30 PM. Good Luck Dolphins!!!

FELLOWSHIP SUNDAY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Our school is serving coffee & donuts at Fellowship Sunday on Sunday, Jan. 14th. We need families to help serve for our parish community after 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Masses. This is a great way to earn Paduan Points and partner with our parish! Students may volunteer but must have a parent or responsible adult in attendance to supervise.

Married couples of ALL ages and stages are invited to join us for a one-day conference hosted by Bobby and Jackie Angel! The conference will be from 9 AM - 3 PM with lunch included. $30 per person/ $60 per couple. Childcare is available with advanced registration.
