Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School,

WHAT A WEEK! We are so proud of the Class of 2024 who graduated yesterday!

This year’s graduating class has forty-nine students. Some have been Dolphins for one year… Some for eleven years. Regardless of how long they’ve been with us, they now join the ranks of our St. Anthony of Padua Alumni and we couldn’t be prouder. Thirty-two of our graduates will attend Frassati Catholic High School. Fifteen will attend their local public schools. One will attend a local private school and one will attend an out-of-state private school. They are going far and wide and will, undoubtedly, do amazing things!

We also want to extend a congratulations to our Class of 2020. They left St. Anthony in a strange time with masks and a unique very socially-distanced graduation ceremony. They are a very special, resilient class. We loved having them walk our halls on Wednesday and wish them all the best as they journey on to college and the next chapters of their stories.

Please join me in congratulating these students and praying for their continued success!

Only by His Grace,

Veronica Tucker

Principal

PLEASE NOTE: ONLY tennis shoes are allowed (no flip flops or sandals). Drinking stations will be set up using a one-time use paper cone cup. This allows them to have a drink and throw it away and return to play. If you would like your student to bring their own reusable water bottle, it must be labeled and it is their responsibility to keep up with it throughout the day.

Field Day is a half day event; school is dismissed at 12:00 PM. There is no need to send a lunch or snack. We look forward to having a GREAT Field Day!

SUMMER BOOK STUDY

Add a spiritual book to your Summer Reading List. Join the Women of St. Anthony of Padua for a Summer Book Read. In the School of the Holy Spirit by Father Jacques Philippe. Abiding Together offers a podcast to accompany this book. Season 7 Ep. 20-22. This book will guide you to become more attentive to the movements of the Holy Spirit in your life as you learn to value the third person of the Trinity as the Sanctifier of your soul. Fr. Jaques explains the rewards of being attentive to the Holy Spirit and provides simple and concrete ways to grow in this inner sensitivity. In his clear and simple style, he illustrates his points with many examples from modern life. In the School of the Holy Spirit is a valuable aid to help one along their spiritual journey. Each week we will meet to discuss the group & journal questions outlined by the Abiding Together podcast. Choose from a morning, afternoon or evening group.
