Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School, 


Happy May! So many things happening this month at St. Anthony of Padua! With all the excitement of closing the school year, it is important to remember the significance of this month in our Catholic faith. May is traditionally known as the month of Mary, a time when we honor and pay tribute to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus.


Throughout this month, we encourage our students to deepen their devotion to Mary through prayer, reflection, and acts of love. We opened the month with our May Crowning Mass on Wednesday when our second-graders, who just received their First Holy Communion, showered Mary with flowers and then crowned her as the Queen of Saints and Our Mother. It was beautiful! 


We invite you to join us in celebrating the month of Mary at home by participating in special prayers, rosaries, devotions, and activities that honor Mary’s role in our faith. Let us come together as a school community to show our love and reverence for the Blessed Mother. May Mary's intercession guide us and inspire us to live out our faith with the same grace and devotion that she exemplified.

This is a perfect opportunity for your athlete to come out and see what the great game of Football is all about and to experience SAOPCS Dolphins Football. Athlete’s will learn and experience football skills such as – stance, agility, passing, carrying, & catching the football, covering receivers, blocking/tackling techniques, placekicking, and punting.

This is a perfect opportunity for your athlete to come out and see what the great game of Soccer is all about and to experience Dolphins Soccer. Athlete’s will learn and experience Soccer skills such as – dribbling, agility, passing, shooting, defending & goalkeeping. Our Soccer Coaches – Carlos and Emmanuel Guzman will be conducting the Mini Camp and they are excited for the upcoming 2024 Dolphins Soccer season. If interested please fill out the permission form attached and return it to Coach Quickel by Friday, May 10th.

Frassati Catholic Middle School Theater Camp, June 3-7

Registration for the Frassati Catholic Summer Theater Camp is now live! This camp is open to rising middle school-aged students (6th-8th grades for the 2024-25 school year). Led by Drs. Cody and Lindsay Medina, students will learn a variety of skills, including stage movement, character development, and vocal projection, as well as behind-the-scenes skills such as stage direction, lighting design, and stage makeup design. Click here to learn more and register.
