Paws for Panthers

Direct Support of MPSH Students in Need!

Our Paws for Panthers (“PFP”) program is a committee of the MPSH PTSA. PFP ensures a select group of at risk students (who face homelessness, housing insecurities or serious financial difficulties), as identified by our Miami Dade County public school social worker, receive clothes, school supplies, book fees, and more!

Prom For All

Help ALL our Panthers dress their best for Prom by donating to our Prom For All closet! We are currently accepting donations of gently used or new items:

· Prom & Homecoming Dresses

· Suits & Tuxedos (Shirts, Pants & Blazers)

· Accessories, including jewelry, purses, ties, bow ties, belts & shoes

APPLY NOW - 2026 Summer Internships

The District 9 office will host Summer Youth Internship Program (SYIP) and Academic Year Internship Program (AYIP) students this upcoming school year. The internship is open to rising juniors and seniors, and rising juniors will have the opportunity to work with the office for two years and hold leadership positions. Students with interest in community service, policy, and education will get hands-on experience working with the board member.

The deadline for students to register with the SYIP/AYIP portal is May 1st; interviews and placement will take place during May & June with the internship starting in July.
