Retired Members, Civilian Members, Department & Union Officials
Must be in Proper Business Attire
(NO Department windbreakers/ bomber Jackets with markings or advertising on the back)

The Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Committee has Officials and Judges along the parade route who will determine the best marching unit.
The Parade Committee sets the dress code. Please keep in step, watch your lines, watch out for “stranglers” or unauthorized participants, and act professionally. Notify any Board member immediately of any issues or concerns.
No family members, spouses, significant others, children, or guests can participate in the Parade. However, they can watch the Parade at 75th and fifth ave, walk down three blocks to the After Parade Party at St Jean Baptiste HS 173 East 75 Street and meet you there.
All out-of-town guests must have written approval from the Emerald Society Executive Board and the NYC Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Committee.
The Society recommends that all participants take public transportation.
The NYCD Emerald society is the affiliated organization of the NYC Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, and we reserve the right to deny any person (s) participation in the 2022 parade.
