Last Day for St. B's Families Priority Registration for Summer Camp!

Today is the final day for St. B’s family priority registration for our 2026 Summer Camps! We’re offering seven weeks of camp from June 1 through July 24, 2026, with a wide variety of exciting options for students to explore.

Priority registration closes end of day today, and registration opens to the general public tomorrow, February 10, 2026. Families of current Preschool 1s and 2s students may click here to view a separate brochure specifically for this age group.

Smalls & Talls Sweetheart Dance

Tickets for the 2026 St. B's Smalls and Talls Sweetheart Dance are now available for purchase!

Join us on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 5:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall at Smyrna First United Methodist (enter through the Welcome Center) for an evening filled with dancing, treats, and family fun.

The event will shift in vibe by age group , but families are welcome to attend whenever it works best for them:

• Preschool - 3rd Grade: 5:30 - 7:00 P.M.
• 4th - 8th Grade: 7:00 - 8:30 P.M.

Ash Wednesday

Join us for special Chapel services on Wednesday, February 18, 2026:

• 8:15 A.M. - 6th/7th/8th Grades
• 9:15 A.M. - 4th/5th Grades
• 10:00 A.M. - 1st/2nd/3rd Grades

There will be no chapel on Tuesday and Thursday of that week. Chapel uniforms should be worn on Wednesday (all grades).

Preschool & Kindergarten will receive ashes in their classrooms.

St. Benedict’s Episcopal School 6th Grader Ava Lynn Wins Future Explorers Award

Congratulations to Ava Lynn F. (6th Grade) on earning the Future Explorers Award in the 2025 Junior Scholars Essay Contest! Chosen from over 1,100 essays across 53 countries, Ava also received a scholarship to Lumiere Education’s Junior Explorer Program.

Stingers Unplugged Reminders

Spring Break is right around the corner, and Stingers Unplugged is excited to offer a full week of care and activities during Spring Break, March 2 - 6, 2026, for families who need it.

Please note that Stingers Unplugged will not be available on Monday, February 16, 2026, due to President’s Day and faculty inservice, on Thursday, February 26, 2026, due to early dismissal for family conferences, or on Friday, February 27, 2026 due to family conferences.

Grandparents & Special Persons Day!

Join us to celebrate Grandparents & Special Friends Day during Chapel. These special services will run from February to March during our regular chapel service time.

Each event is limited to 10 families. To ensure that every student has an opportunity to participate, please limit only one service per family.

Futures take shape at St. Benedict’s in ways that last far beyond graduation. In this featured video, alumna Abbie Gould ’18 reflects on her journey from joining St. Benedict’s in kindergarten through graduating in eighth grade, where she built a strong foundation rooted in confidence, community, and curiosity. Now a senior at Georgia Tech, majoring in public policy and preparing to graduate this spring, Abbie shares how her St. B’s experience prepared her for rigorous academics, meaningful relationships, and a future in healthcare policy. Her story is a powerful reminder of how a St. Benedict’s education continues to shape students long after they leave our campus.

As our winter sports season comes to a close, we are incredibly proud of our girls and boys basketball teams, as well as our swim team, for the dedication, teamwork, and heart they displayed throughout the season. Each athlete represented our school with integrity and finished strong, both in competition and in character.

As we look ahead to next year, we are excited to welcome the spring season and cheer on our track and flag football athletes as their seasons begin.
