Dear Friends and Supporters,

Online learning for Pasco and Pinellas County Schools has begun but people are still struggling to ensure that their children have devices and the wifi to access learning materials.

If your family is still in need of help--here is the latest information direct from each County. Please feel free to forward to caregivers.

Check out the latest in E-Learning News for Pasco Parents! This newsletter, put out by Pasco County Schools, has all the latest information for parents and students.

Does your caregiver or child need some technical help? The fastest way to get help from Distance Learning Tech Support is to email -- from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. If you can’t email, call: 813-794-2859 Monday-Friday. (If lines are busy, leave a message. They will respond as quickly as possible)

Live chat is available from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday-Friday at: Technology Help Desk Live Chat (Look for the green chat box in the lower right hand corner of the screen)

There will be ONE pick up day each week (Tuesdays) to provide 5 days of breakfast and lunch for each child at designated locations.

This modified service will begin on TUESDAY, MARCH 31 and only be offered on TUESDAYS until further notice.

Meals will be served drive-thru style between 11 am - 1 pm. In select areas, meals will also be available at the neighborhood bus stops. Buses will remain at each stop for 10 minutes for meal pick-up.

Please help us plan the appropriate amount of food needed by indicating which site you will be visiting and how many children 18 years or younger will accompany you to meal pickup here .

Pinellas County Schools has transitioned to regional device distribution. Each site will be open from 8 - 10 am and 2 - 4 pm on Thursday (4/2). The centers will be open two days a week on Tues/Thur after that.

In order to pickup a device a parent must call their school and request a device. The parent will then receive a phone call from the Regional Distribution team to set their appointment location and time.

Distribution sites will also serve as repair centers where a family can bring a device that is not working. The tech tech on site will either repair the device or switch it out for a new one.

After careful consideration, we have decided to postpone both Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s (Apr 22) and Savory and Sweet (May 1) in the interest of public health. The safety and wellness of our attendees, sponsors, and volunteers is our top priority.
Savory & Sweet is tentatively rescheduled for February 19, 2021 but all dates will be confirmed when the current situation has passed.

We know that many are struggling right now, but if you are in a position to help, our families still need our support. Every little bit can make an immediate impact on the children we serve. One way we are helping is by sourcing and purchasing products for "Safer at Home" kits for case managers to give to foster families and caregivers that are unable to find needed supplies.
We know times are hard and many of us have been hit with unexpected economic challenges, but if you are in a position to help, we need it now more than ever.

Help us make sure that every family caring for one of our children
has what they need to stay safe, well and healthy here.
Don't forget to like us on Social Media to get the latest
resources and information every day!

If there are topics that you would like us to cover or other ideas
you have for how we can help let us know!
Please stay healthy, safe, and stay in touch. We appreciate all you are doing and we are here to support you!
