Gresham City Council proclaimed May 15th to 22th as POLICE WEEK. Chamber members, like Contract Furnishings Mart, joined in the Adopt-A-Cop program in January to show appreciation. Tammy, her staff, and customers collected stuffed animals on behalf of Gresham police, to help victims during trauma situations.

The Village Retirement Center joined The Journey at Main City Park baseball field for a community photo opportunity during the Adopt-A-Cop month long celebration. Police Week is another reminder to reach out and thank an officer.

The City of Gresham Police Department appreciated the month long community and business celebration as evidence by the Thank You sign. Samantha from Persimmon County Club, jumped at the opportunity for a photo moment with two of Gresham’s finest.

An arson fire delayed delivery by the Gresham Area Chamber of four stuffed animals for adopted Officers Danny and Daniel. While May 15th is Police Week in Gresham, every week is a great week to honor, appreciate, and show support for police officers and support staff. |
