NEXT STEP MONDAY
Easter Changes Everything
| | |
What difference does the resurrection make in our lives?
Because Jesus is risen, death is not the end, fear does not get the final word, and the work we do for God is never in vain. That means we are free to take risks, love boldly, and live with deep faith.
As Frederick Buechner reminds us, “The worst thing is never the last thing.”
This week, don’t just celebrate Easter, live in its truth: Love someone. Serve someone.
| | Ready to put your faith into action? Here are a few ways you can love and serve others this week. | | |
SUPPORT KAIROS PRISON MINISTRY
Help create a life-changing weekend inside prison walls.
| | Kairos Prison Ministry offers a three-day weekend where men in prison experience Christian community, encouragement, and the reminder that they are not forgotten. This ministry continues beyond the weekend through ongoing prayer and support. | | | |
You can be part of this meaningful work in simple, tangible ways:
-
Sponsor a meal ($5) or a participant ($175). Donations may be made by cash or check payable to Kairos Prison Ministry.
-
Bake homemade cookies to be shared during the weekend. Drop off by Sunday, April 12 (for April 16–19) or Sunday, April 26 (for April 30–May 2) at the Kairos table in the Narthex.
-
Commit to pray and add your name and city to the prayer chain, which will be displayed as a visible reminder that each participant is being lifted up in prayer.
Your support helps create space for transformation, reminding each participant that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.
