NEXT STEP MONDAY
Into God's Hands
| | |
In this week’s Next Step Monday, Pastor Andy reflects on Jesus’ final words, “Father, into Your hands I commend my spirit,” and how, even in His darkest moment, Jesus chose trust.
As we enter Holy Week, what do you need to release into God’s hands? Watch this week's video now and take your next step.

The LHUMC Youth Group spent the weekend at Sky Ranch, stepping away from the noise of everyday life to worship, build friendships, and grow in their faith. Between meaningful small groups and time to reflect, there was plenty of fun, including a can’t-miss stop at Buc-ee’s along the way.
We’re grateful for the ways God moved in our students and for the leaders who made the weekend possible.
| | |
Palm Sunday marked the launch of The Table, our new intergenerational worship experience, as we began Holy Week together.
Children led the way with a joyful palm processional, waving branches and singing “Hosanna!” as we remembered Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. After worship, we gathered for a shared meal and time of conversation around the table.
We are grateful for everyone who helped make this first Sunday of The Table such a meaningful beginning.

FILL EGGS FOR OUR COMMUNITY EASTER EGG HUNT
Drop off by Friday, April 3
| | |
Help us get ready for our egg hunt on Easter Sunday! Pick up a bag of 12 empty eggs in the Narthex, fill them with nut-free candy, tape them closed, and return them to the red buckets at Entrance D or the Narthex.
It’s a simple way to make Easter special for local families, and a fun activity to do with your kids or Sunday School class.

SUPPORT KAIROS PRISON MINISTRY
Help create a life-changing weekend inside prison walls.
| | Kairos Prison Ministry offers a three-day weekend where men in prison experience Christian community, encouragement, and the reminder that they are not forgotten. This ministry continues beyond the weekend through ongoing prayer and support. | | | |
You can be part of this meaningful work in simple, tangible ways:
-
Sponsor a meal ($5) or a participant ($175). Donations may be made by cash or check payable to Kairos Prison Ministry.
-
Bake homemade cookies to be shared during the weekend. Drop off by Sunday, April 12 (for April 16–19) or Sunday, April 26 (for April 30–May 2) at the Kairos table in the Narthex.
-
Commit to pray and add your name and city to the prayer chain, which will be displayed as a visible reminder that each participant is being lifted up in prayer.
Your support helps create space for transformation, reminding each participant that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.
