Sunday Worship Services

English Ministry - 11am

As we head toward Christmas, a lot of us feel like the ground keeps moving under our feet — finances, health, family, the headlines. It’s easy to feel tired and thin on the inside, even while we go through the motions on the outside.

This Sunday we’re starting a new Advent series called “When the World Shifts – a four-week journey to discover hope, peace, joy, and love that actually hold in real life.” Week 1 is all about hope. We’ll light the candle of hope and open the Bible to Isaiah 9, Luke 1, and Romans 15.

If you’re feeling shaken, you’re not alone – and you’re invited. Why not pray about one person you could bring with you this Sunday?

So bring your Bible.

Bring a friend.

And we'll see you Sunday!

If you cannot jin us in person, you can login and join on ZOOM Church.

Sunday Worship Services

Mandarin Ministry - 9am

This Sunday our Mandarin speaking congregation will gather in the Worship Centre to dive into God’s Word. This congregation is a growing community of faith with a deep hunger for truth and a heart to serve.

They are currently seeking a new pastor—someone who will lead with wisdom, love, and unity of vision. Ask God for clear direction, abundant provision, and unity as they take these next steps.

When The World Shifts

Pastor Andrew has recorded a series of short videos for parents, grandparents, and grown-up kids who rarely experience a Hallmark-perfect December. He talks about regret, pressure, grief, “not enough,” and the ways our own failures have sometimes made it hard for people to trust Jesus.

Share them with someone who’s struggling, and let these simple reminders point all of us back to the good news that Jesus is still with us even when life is hard.

The Annex Cafe

Each Wednesday, we provide a weekly BBQ lunch, a cup of coffee, and a warm bowl of soup. This week we served about 60 people.

Unapologetically, we share the love of God through food and the Gospel. This ministry connects us to our hungry and homeless neighbours right here on Main St. You can help us serve our friends and guests. For more information, please contact Pastor Andrew or George Flack.

The Porch Pantry

It's unfortunate that many people in our country are suffering from Food Insecurity. We may not be able to change the world, but we can make a difference for a few people here on Main Street. This ministry is an outreach caring for people who are struggling and those who may be experiencing homelessness. You can help by donating some of the items listed below.

Weekly Offering

Many have given faithfully to support our ministry on Main Street. Our weekly offering is an intentional part of our Worship. It allows us to remember that giving is not simply about meeting a budget, but about serving God. It's an act of gratitude and obedience, just like serving in the Annex Cafe, praying with one another and singing.

We recognize that some may still prefer to give online or in other ways, and that is still encouraged. But by passing the plate, we want to bring our giving back into the rhythm of our Worship as a church family. Thank you for your ongoing faithfulness in supporting the ministry at CBC.

After Service Fellowship

Following our 11am Worship Service, we would love you to join us downstairs in the Community Room for a chance to get to know each other and to encourage someone who might be going through a difficult time. It's a great opportunity each week to connect with our church family. See you Sunday!
