This spring, VTC-POET teamed up with the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) on a creative new engagement effort: introducing an agency mascot—combining innovation and fun to connect with younger audiences.

Target Zero Commission Kicks Off


In a bold step to address the rise in traffic fatalities in New Jersey, Governor Murphy signed Assembly Bill 1476 on January 13, establishing the Target Zero Commission. The commission will work toward a statewide goal of eliminating all traffic deaths and serious injuries by 2040.

NJTIP @ Rutgers Awarded NJ Department of Human Services Age-Friendly Project Grant!


The New Jersey Division of Aging Services awarded NJTIP @ Rutgers one of ten statewide grants its new project, NJTIP Passaic STEP. The initiative will strengthen age-friendly practices and help older adults in Paterson and Wayne, NJ, better navigate local transportation.
