Dear Friends & Supporters of Bnai Zion Medical Center,
As the war intensifies, Haifa is under constant attack from Iran and Lebanon. One of the last 400kg ballistic missiles hit a building just 60 meters from Bnai Zion Medical Center.
That forced us to make a difficult decision: relocate our operations to a protected facility on the outskirts of Haifa, near the Druze village of Isfiya on Mount Carmel. We did this to keep treating new patients and to continue the rehabilitation of the overwhelming number of casualties generated by the war with Iran and Lebanon.
Keeping this new facility running has already cost us over $300,000.
We’ve had to hire security to protect the site, purchase and transport equipment we couldn’t use from the main hospital, and continuously transport critically injured patients to our new location — all of which is extremely expensive.
