🛒 Afton Food Pantry Drive • December 1–5

Let’s “CART” Our Way to Kindness!

We’re excited to kick off our school-wide food drive to support the Afton Food Pantry!

Between December 1–5, students are encouraged to bring in items assigned by grade level. You can see the list here.

Our goal? Fill 8 shopping carts with donations!

🎯 School-Wide Incentives

As we fill each cart, the entire school earns a reward:

• 2 Carts: Extra Recess
• 4 Carts: PJ & Stuffed Animal Day
• 6 Carts: Teacher Swap (30 minutes)
• 8+ Carts: Hot Cocoa Bar in the Cafeteria

Holiday Shop

Volunteers Needed!

Afton’s Annual Holiday Shop will be during the school day from December 8-12th. All proceeds will go directly back to students in need this Holiday Season.

Look for more information and an envelope to come home on 12/5.

Families are not permitted to shop with their children but volunteers are needed!

If your clearances are in with the office, please sign up for a time slot.

Dine to Donate at Pretty Burger or Kawaii Tori

Wednesday, December 10 • 3:30-8:00 pm

Make dinnertime easy while supporting Afton’s PTO! Join us on Wednesday, December 10 from 3:30–8:00 PM for a Dine & Donate event at Pretty Burger or Kawaii Tori in downtown Yardley.

Both restaurants offer family favorites—from burgers and shakes to sushi—so everyone can enjoy a meal they love. Dine in or take out, and simply mention Afton when you order.

10% of food sales will be donated back to the Afton PTO.

Volunteer at the Afton Library

The Afton Library is looking for volunteers! This is a great way to lend a hand at school while seeing students in action during their library time.

Volunteers help with shelving books, checking books in and out (the scanner makes this easy!) and supporting Mrs. Moyle as students learn.

All clearances must be current and uploaded to the App Garden–Volunteer Tracker.

The world-famous Harlem Wizards are returning to Pennsbury! Tickets are on sale now!

Last year's family-friendly event sold out fast! Grab your tickets today and watch as the Wizards take on some of your staff members for a night of tricks, hoops, and alley-oops!

All event proceeds will benefit the Pennsbury Education Foundation (PEF). Since its inception in 2003, the PEF has raised nearly $300,000, which helps cover the costs of classroom grants to enhance curriculum for Pennsbury students. Your support of the PEF helps our teachers bolster the District's mission to prepare all students to become creative, ethical, and critical thinkers for lifelong success in a global society.
