We thank you for your continued support of the EPIC school system. The EPIC Outreach team would like to inform you of an opportunity for your child(ren) to participate in.
EPIC is Inshallah hosting an Educator Appreciation Luncheon on Dec 3, 2016 from 11:30 - 2 PM. The event is intended to show our appreciation for our children's public school teachers, show them our facility and educate them about the importance Islam places on teaching and seeking knowledge in Islam.
What: Educator Appreciation Luncheon
Where: East Plano Islamic Center
When: Saturday, Dec. 3, 11:30pm - 2:00pm
(1) As part of the event we would like to give the teachers thank you cards made by children that would be attached with a gift as a small token of appreciation for their efforts. Please ask your child to make a thank you card that includes a few notes about why your child is thankful for his or her teacher.
The top three cards that have the best design and message will be recognized at the event and will be awarded prizes of $100, $50 and $25 for the first, second, and third place prizes. The award winners will also have the opportunity to read the card to everyone at the event if the child so desires.
(2) Please give your child's teachers, principal and/or the administration staff the invitation cards for the event by yourself or via your child.
