Updates to Improve Your Borrowing Experience!

We're always looking for ways to improve your experience at the library.

Starting November 1st, we’re introducing a few changes to streamline services and improve access to our collections. Here’s what’s new:

New Loan Periods

  • Majority of our items, including Library of Things, will now have a 21-day loan period.
  • Exceptions: Radon detector kits will still have a 28-day loan period, and cultural passes will still have a 7-day loan period.

Holds Process Change

  • You can still place holds online or by contacting us.
  • Once a hold is ready, you’ll be notified and have 7 days to pick it up.
  • Holds will no longer be automatically checked out. You’ll need to check out your items after picking them up—either at the back window, self-checkout, or front desk. Bringing your library card speeds things up!

For more information on borrowing, renewing, or returning items, visit our website

We're Here to Help

Whether you need help placing holds, finding your next great read, checking out your items, or require any accommodations, we’re always here to help.

You can also contact us via email, give us a call, or come see us at the library.

Thanks for your patience as we make these improvements!
