Issue 5 of the VCC Update (Winter 2025)

Greetings VCC Friends!

It's hard to believe that the VSTE conference was more than 2 months ago. I am so appreciative to everyone who was able to join us for lunch on the final day. It filled my bucket to see everyone together, networking, and having fun. Below, please find a picture of (some of) your professional learning network! In all, we are currently 348 VCCs strong, with several more anticipated members as the Fall 2024 portfolios wrap πŸŽ‰.

To keep our collaborative momentum going, this newsletter has some new ideas for your consideration. If you have any additional thoughts, keep in touch!

Sincerely,

Katie Breaud

Bluesky for VCCs

With the support of VSTE's social media team, I'm hoping to spin up a Bluesky Starter Pack!

Please fill out this form to be added - more information coming soon 😎.

VCC Resource Share

One of my favorite parts about the VSTE Certified Coach program was the opportunity to share resources. Now that we're all certified, I'd love to sustain that ability. Please consider adding a shortcut to the "πŸ”Ή VSTE Certified Coach" Google Folder in your Drive and making a contribution!

Update: The Core of Coaching Framework

β€Š

If you read the Fall 2024 newsletter, you learned about Forward Edge's Core of Coaching Framework, which is our new guide to portfolio development within the VCC certification program. As of February 3rd, our beloved Dr. Katie Ritter and Brooke Conklin have officially published their white pages on the entire framework (!!).

VCC Renewal Opportunities

Reminder: VCC certification lasts for 3 years, and to maintain it, VCCs need to earn 30 credits across 6 domains. We recommend aiming for 10 credits annually. You can find the complete renewal program and the renewal tracker linked on the VCC webpage.
