DECA Membership Assistance Program

The membership assistance program will provide financial support to help students who cannot afford to participate.

Please complete the you will be notified if your application is approved. Please note that the % of support is based on F/R lunch and will be paid to the chapter after November 15, 2022. 

FLC Business Pitch Competition

Students eager to begin the competition season are encouraged to participate in the Business Pitch Competition at FLC! Teams of 1-3 will present on their proposed business, product, or service, to a judge.

Lead4Change Challenge

Members can demonstrate their leadership skills by being involved with their community and submitting a community service project.

UPDATE, GRADUATE, AND ROLL FORWARD

If you are a continuing chapter, before you can add new members into the membership portal, you will need to:

• Update advisor and chapter information
• Graduate last years seniors to alumni (or delete)
• Roll forward last years members one year in school (or delete)
• Add new members 

At that point, they will have a little box next to their name. In order to submit, click the little box and click the RED Submit Membership button.

When they are showing "pending" or "member" they are officially submitted and an invoice can be generated and submitted to be paid.

Competition Expertise and Support for Advisors

The Business Operations Research Series will take advisors through:

1) Integrating the Business Operations Research events into a Marketing Information Management

instructional unit for a grade.

2) Strategies for conducting both primary and secondary research based on this year's topic.

3) Developing each section of the project according to the DECA guidelines.

Each virtual workshop is 15-20 minutes and will be posted to Teach DECA.

Step into the role of a successful entrepreneur that introduced the product Boldly to the market. Boldly is a boxed hair dye kit sold online directly to consumers. You must develop a marketing plan targeting males.
