Despite homebuilding and construction being deemed essential work by the State, six Bay Area counties have shut down construction. In Los Angeles County, both the City of Los Angeles and the City of Pasadena have put out new construction guidelines that threaten shutdowns if safety protocols are not followed. ccupational Safety and Health Administration) has been going to jobsites to verify safety measures, including safe distancing.
