Spring is here, and WCSO has been busy keeping our community safe!

This month, we’re focusing on traffic safety, crime prevention, and honoring those who make a difference in our community.

April also highlights important awareness campaigns. Read on for key updates, safety tips, and ways to stay involved.

🚨 Community Safety & Awareness

Slow Down for Safety

Speeding poses risks to everyone on the road and is a form of aggressive driving we should all avoid.

Even if you drive at the speed limit, speed can impact your safety. Always adjust your speed based on road conditions, such as bad weather, construction, or poorly lit areas at night.

We get it—life can be hectic, and managing a busy schedule is tough, but remember, speed limits are set to protect everyone on the road.

Let’s keep ourselves and others safe by prioritizing caution over speed.

Stay safe out there!

🔒 Crime Prevention Tip: Protect Your Car

With warmer weather on the horizon, it is important to consider how to safeguard yourself from potential vehicle break-ins.

Here are three simple steps to protect yourself:

✅ Lock your car doors

✅ Remove valuables from sight

✅ Park in well-lit areas

To file a police report, please call non-emergency dispatch at 503-629-0111 or you can also file online.
