FALL 2021 Parking Info for Faculty and Staff
New information for 2021-2022: The coin operated parking meters have been removed from the university and parking kiosk machines installed. Two kiosk machines were installed in the Student Center parking lot (Lot A). One kiosk is located on the west side of the lot where the parking meters used to be, and one kiosk is located on the east side of the lot. One kiosk machine was installed in the Rita lot (Lot B & C) located near the main entrance of the Rita building where the parking meters were.

Employees are able to purchase $5/day temporary permits from these kiosks for use in any unmarked stall in a commuter lot (same as purchasing a daily temporary permit from the Police Department).

The kiosks only accept credit cards. The kiosks will print out a receipt which you must place face up on the dash of the vehicle so that it is visible.

Employees are not permitted to park in Visitor-signed spaces even with a temporary permit from the parking kiosk. Visitor-signed spaces are for campus visitors only.

Visitor parking information: Guests visiting departments or offices for a short period of time may purchase a temporary permit from the Student Center or Rita kiosks at $1.00 an hour for up to 4 hours; after 4 hours the temporary permit will be an all-day $5 permit.
Visitors should then use one of the spots signed for visitor use.

The pink paper single-day guest permits are also still available for bulk purchase from the Police Department – if your department is in need of some, please email the request with a complete funding string to parking@uwp.edu.

Parking enforcement will begin on Wednesday, September 22nd. Please purchase your parking permit before that date at University Police, Tallent Hall, east of the roundabout on Wood Rd.

Annual permits (expiring Aug. 31, 2022): $235.
Fall semester permits (expiring Dec. 31, 2021): $122.
Reserved permits: $460 and are still available for both Student Center and Rita parking lots.
Annual part-time permits (for faculty/staff contracted at 24 hours/week or less): $132.
