Hello and Happy New Year from Galgorm,

Our world-renowned spa and golf resort, ideally located close to both Belfast airports and the gateway to Ireland’s iconic north coast. 
 
Northern Ireland’s premier luxury resort and tournament venue – our Championship Castle course is the perennial home of the ISPS HANDA World Invitational and hosted the 2020 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open.
 
We thought we’d take this opportunity to bring you up to date with recent events and awards we’ve been delighted to host and receive.
We recently hosted three professional tournaments in an 11-month period;

The ISPS HANDA World Invitational in July 2021 was the first event of its kind in the northern hemisphere, tri-sanctioned by the European Tour, LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour.
 
In autumn 2020, Galgorm hosted the Northern Ireland Open, supported by The R&A on the European Challenge Tour and was quickly followed by the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open on the main DP World (European Tour) Tour. Galgorm was the first parkland in Northern Ireland to host the Irish Open on the European Tour.

BEST LUXURY GOLF RESORT 2021 (EUROPE)

Galgorm scored a hat-trick of awards for excellence at this year’s World Luxury Hotel Awards, including Best Luxury Golf Resort (Europe), cementing the Resort’s status as Northern Ireland’s premier luxury destination and elevating the region’s tourism credentials to the global stage.
NORTHERN IRELAND'S BEST GOLF HOTEL 2021

Galgorm was crowned Northern Ireland’s Best Golf Hotel 2021 at the recent World Golf Awards. Royal Portrush - host venue for the 148th and 153rd Open Championships and just a short drive from Galgorm - was named Northern Ireland’s Best Golf Course.
