Youth Ministry

3sixty and Edge are returning! 3sixty (high school) kicks off on Sunday, September 11th and Edge (middle school) on Wednesday, September 14th.

Registrations for 3sixty and Edge will open up next weekend. More details to come!
Confirmation Registration

Registration for the Sacrament of Confirmation are now online. Youth as early as the 7th grade are able
to begin their formation.

The parent and youth orientation for middle school youth will be on Wednesday, September 7th at 6:30pm.

Seasons of Hope Grief Consolation Group

The purpose of this group is to help the healing process of those who are grieving. Join us for a 6-week series of faith and gospel-based readings. Pastoral Care Ministry

Holy Spirit Pastoral Care ministers make visits to the elderly and sick members of the community, offering compassionate care, and encouraging a sense of belonging and connection to the Body of Christ through the Eucharist. We are now able to offer in person communion visits for those unable to come to Mass. If you or any of your family members would like to have a communion visit, please contact Merry Reardon, Director of Pastoral Care, at merry.reardon@dsj.org.

Faith Formation

Faith Formation and First Eucharist Registration Registration is open for Faith Formation for the 2022-2023 year.

Faith Formation is for children who will be entering kindergarten though 5th grade. Registration for First Eucharist is also open for those that meet the requirements. For more information and to register, click here.

Ending the Silence, Mental Health

On August 25 at 6pm, NAMI Santa Clara will host a 50 minute presentation for adults with middle or high school aged youth. Ending the Silence is a presentation aimed at educating everyone about mental health conditions. The purpose is to create an open dialog with the goal to break the stigma associated with mental illness. Register at bit.ly/namiets
Laudato Si' Action Platform

Bishop Cantú has enrolled the Diocese of San José to be a part of Pope Francis’ Laudato Si Action Platform. Families, schools, and parishes can learn more and sign up online. The Diocesan Stewards of Our Common Home team is inviting all to a series of events celebrating the Season of Creation:

  • Tuesday, September 13 at 7pm - Earth on Your Plate Presentation, by Mohan Gurunathan. Learn why diet change is essential to saving our planet. Please register here and the link will be emailed to you.
